Hope plays such a potentially powerful role in life. It is much more than a rose-tinted view that “everything will turn out ok in the end”. It is more about believing that you that have both the will and the way to get where you need to go or accomplish whatever you need to in the right way and time for you.
Sometimes in the busy-ness of our lives, we get caught up in the intensity, the mundaneity, the drama (insert other words as applicable) and our hope gets submerged, forgotten or lost in some way.
Having hope means that one does not give in to overwhelming anxiety or seemingly insurmountable challenges or difficulties or other pressures of life and instead with hope we can self-reassure, allow our own inner resourcefulness to flow a little more, and move onwards in life at a pace that’s right for us.
For like the “Hope” sitting at the bottom of Pandora’s Box where it served as the antidote to all the afflictions of the world, hope is a healing and nurturing energy deep within us. Our Souls brought hope into this incarnation with us on our Journey of the Soul to help us and to guide us and to nurture us whenever we need it. I have always thought that Alexander Pope must have used the words ‘Hope Springs Eternal…’ because he recognised that it is indeed a gift and blessing of our Eternal Souls.
So my hope
Is that you have hope for you
That you know where to find hope if you have lost it in some way
You know how to share hope with others who might have lost theirs
and that you always remember that there is always hope
Right there within you, and within all of us
And more immediately, I hope you all have a lovely weekend
Love & gratitude
